Haridwar, India’s spiritual center, the holiest city for Hindus, and an emerging new yoga hub, is home to India’s largest yoga institute, Patanjali Yogpeeth, Baba Ramdev’s flagship project. The location, which is on the Delhi-Haridwar highway, needs no introduction, and many people come here for various reasons. This massive ayurvedic center, which opened in 2006, is named after Maharishi Patanjali, the alleged inventor of yoga.
